The Science of Circles

Held in the client’s back garden this was a beautiful and stylish affair. The starting point for this birthday occasion was the choice of this incredible structure. Keen to go for something show stopping this circular yurt definitely rose to the challenge.  The brief was for a formal and fun occasion.  A small gathering of close friends and family to celebrate a milestone birthday!

An arrival with an impact

The Pavilion yurt by Cheltenham Yurt Hire is designed to impress and impress it certainly did. As guests arrived the tent glowed from within, inviting them inside to the warmth for a welcome glass of bubbles. The birthday boy was on hand to greet and welcome his guests.

Good tunes to span generations

It was clear from the start that the focus for this party was to have all guests throwing shapes on the dance floor for the majority of the night. The music was very important and had to be right to capture a variety of ages and tastes. Talented local DJ’s were fully briefed by the birthday boy himself and consequently kept everyone on the dance floor until the early hours! A photographer roamed the scene, taking impromptu’ photo booth’ shots with an LED hula hoop to capture everything in its best light.

Simple and Refined

We opted to keep the décor fairly simple and refined, so as not to distract from the stunning design of the yurt . A delicate, natural foliage chandelier and dozens of glowing fairy lights picked up the wooden lattice work. Large lanterns strewn along the walls lit up pathways around the garden, highlighting cosy nooks for guests to settle and chat with friends, away from the music.

Wild and Rustic Dining

Delicious and uncomplicated food and beverage choices led to simplicity at its finest.  Hearty burgers and chips were served up by the friendly, fast and professional folk at Wild and Rustic. Guests were able to eat al fresco gathered around fire bowls, or inside on rattan furniture and industrial style high poseur tables and stools. Readily available at any time, the burgers went down a treat.
